This holiday destination is completely dedicated to winter sports. It’s no wonder, as there is lots of snow here in winter and there are limitless possibilities. Just across the border, the Kronplatz is known as the no. 1 ski mountain in South Tyrol. Our own mountain has pistes for everyone for a winter holiday in the Kronplatz region with fascinating panoramas, lots of sunshine and rustic huts to stop for a bite.
If that’s not enough, there are two more ski resorts in the nearby valley of Tauferer Ahrntal. The mecca of cross-country skiing is found in one of the surrounding valleys of the Puster Valley. The original Antholz Valley and its modern South Tyrolean arena attracts cross-country skiers and biathlon athletes from all over the world. And without having to go too far, you will find a sunny cross-country ski trail close by the hotel for a winter adventure.
Visitors are attracted not just by the pistes, but also by snow-covered forests, abundant fresh snow and the absolute stillness of nature. Apart from the ski tourers and snow-shoe hikers, you are mostly totally alone in the fairy-tale landscape and can only hear the crunch of the snow under your feet. For more chilled out activities, go tobogganing, ice-skating or on winter hikes in stunning scenery. For example take part in the weekly torch-lit hike in Stefansdorf with a romantic stop for mulled wine. Look forward to an active winter holiday in the Kronplatz region that you could only dream of!
